I studied law in Marburg and completed my legal studies in Darmstadt with a stay at the Higher Regional Court in Frankfurt am Main. After my admission to the German Federal Register of Lawyers, I started working for the law firm Aschoff, Döll & Partner in Darmstadt for several years before I continued my work as an independent lawyer in Northern Hesse. After a family- stay abroad in England for several years where I gained extensive language skills, I additionally worked as a freelance editor at the publishing house Vieweg & Gabler in Wiesbaden, where, among other things, I was able to contribute to the edition of Gabler’s business encyclopaedia.
In 2010 I turned back to the lawyer’s profession and took a job at the law office Georg Oedekoven in Wiesbaden, which specialized in the field of foreigners and immigration law. Since I enjoyed working in this particular field a lot, I gladly took the opportunity in 2016 to become a specialist lawyer in the field of migration law. I have held the title since May 2017.
After the unexpected death of my esteemed colleague, I decided to take over the firm and now co-lead it together with my colleague Martin Nelte.
